Hey Magnus help me out here.  Why don't people just use the 4981 bios?  This is guaranteed to keep you from going live.  I'm a bit confused.  Unless certain modchips can't use that bios.  TIA

X2 4981 and 4983 bioses don't support 1.6 xboxs.

That's why

If you have a 1.0->1.4 then you should definately use X2 4981 (or 4983, but I prefer 4981)
