Xbox Ports

My xbox live works everything is ok except my connection is so slow. Im pretty lagged. I know I dont have the best connection but I do have a 1.5down and 300k up DSL.

I was thinkin that maybe my Linksys router could be blocking some ports maybe. I just dont see how xbox live could take up that much connection....

I searched around and found xbox portrs on 88, 53, and 3074 ... I opened them all and it made a small improvement.... am I missing something?

Any average or xbox live activity?
