2 Xboxs In 1 House Linked To Xbc?
« on: April 30, 2004, 06:33:00 AM »

i would like to link mine and my bro's xbox in my home and then connect to xbc as we dont want to play split screen via one tv and one xbox. is this possible and can you tell me how?

how fast does my broadband need to be inorder to cope?

currently i have my xbox networked straight to my pc via a crossover cable and i connect to xbc through the broadband modem connected to my PC.

thanks

I think XBconnect pro will allow you to connect through a router and use only one PC, one version of XBC and two tvs/two xboxes.

Otherwise, I think you need to have XBC on two PCs and have one xbox go through one and the other to the other PC to be able to connect in the way you want to.

I use a router and it works fine... plus it acts like a firewall, I would go that way.

512k broadband should be fine for most games, and if you have or can have 2 pc's connected to your network it would help alot when you want to join other peoples games.
