lo all heres my problem.

I have my xbox linked via crossover cable to NIC in me pc.
All firewalls are off and relevant ports open etc.
I launch a game IE topspin and enter system link mode.
I then launch xbconnect and login. It then tells me to put xbox in system link mode and looking for a game, i "ok" this box and then i have another window with various options and in the top right it shows a status "looking" with several zeros underneath and basically stays like this. I can see a list of servers in the main window and can enter chat but xbconnect doesnt seem to detect my box, a colleague has told me that i have to select what network cards i DONT want to connect, as it fooled him 1st time round. Im at work now so cant try yet but can any1 help me with this. I want to totally own someone on Topspin.
