Guys, please note the lvl1 and the lvl1 supervisors are just outsourced. They don't work for MS, and couldn't care less about you or your xbox live account. They have no ability to lookup accounts, or to re-enable accounts. What they say has no bearing, they read from a sheet, and have no technical knowledge. They are know what they are told to know, nothing more, nothing less.

From lvl2 and up, you actually talke to a MS employee.

FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: How come M$ is banning modchips for playin in xblive
Francisco Arenas: Hello and welcome to the Xbox Interactive Online Support. My name is Francisco.
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: Hi how are you
Francisco Arenas: I'm fine, thank you.
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: I am wondering why MS is banning xboxs w/ mod chips for playin on xbox live
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: Hello?
Francisco Arenas: Yes, modified consoles will be banned from Xbox live
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: And why is that
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: They can just get eeprom upgrades or serial numbers from other xboxes
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: And its just causing more hassle for MS
Francisco Arenas: Because that's illegal.
Francisco Arenas: Is there anything else I can help you with?
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: How are mod chips illegal?
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: This is what i would like you to help me with
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: Everyone assumes that mod chips are just made for illegal backups
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: But they actually can add more features to your xbox
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: ARE YOU THERE?
Francisco Arenas: MS will defend the gaming experience for our users on Xbox Live, and will not approve the use of any game cheating devices for the Xbox gaming platform. This is a violation of the Xbox Live Terms of Use. If users attempt to access Xbox Live with an Xbox installed with modified hardware or unapproved software, their Xbox will be blocked from accessing the service now and in the future. MS reserves the right to take other appropriate action in the future, which could include cancelin

ing the user’s subscription.
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: Why are they jumping to conclusions
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: That we are using mod chips for cheating
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: When no one has been able to do that yet
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: Is it ok if i call you CockSucker?
Francisco Arenas: You have to use an apropriate language when you chat with us.
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: Can i pls call you Gates?
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: I am really concerened about this
Francisco Arenas: My name is Francisco.
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: I feel it is unfair and not rite of MS to assume that we are using this for cheating purposes
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: Can you please provide me with all the information you can about this xbox live and modchip confliction?
Francisco Arenas: Sorry, but I'm not allowed to engage in any personal chat with you. Is there any other question you'd like to ask.
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: THIS IS NOT PERSONAL CHAT
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: This is about me defending my rights as an individual to find out why and how they are blocking the xboxes from using xbox live
Francisco Arenas: We don't handle that sort of issues here. Only presale questions.
Francisco Arenas: Do you have any question regarding that?
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: Why wouldnt you
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: HOW ARE THEY BLOCKING XBOXES FROM XBOXLIVE
Francisco Arenas: We don't have that information here. Anything else?
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: WHY ARE YOU BLOCKING XBOXES FROM XBOXLIVE
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: Is it soley for cheating purposes?
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: Or is it cuz you guys are lame ass fucks w/ no life and just want to be pussy shit and ban xboxes
Francisco Arenas: This chat is recorded as well as with your IP address. If you don't stop being diruptive we will take action and report this where you can be traced and legal actions can be done.
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: i am verrsy sorry
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: i am just very mad
FuckM$UpTheGoatAss: goodbye fransinsco
Francisco Arenas: It was a pleasure chatting with you today, for your convenience and future reference, you will receive by e-mail a detailed transcript of our chat, including all site links and services. Bagel edit that first post, its WAY to long.

Now reguarding serial numbers.

I have posted this before and will again. You dont own your xbox in the same way that you dont own your dss card and dont own your drivers license. It can be confiscated at any time and is not suppposed to be messed with. Also I am sure that there are other identification numbers other than the serial number that m$ can use, maybe the original Hd ID or your ethernet ID, IP's are useless cause like someone said many peoples change all the time. So  M$ may very well enable all serial numbers if to many legit ones get banned. For now if I were to get baned I would call saying I just picked up my xbox and live from the store and I cant get on, meanning to them that it was not a mod but a stolen serial #.

Actually level 1 technical support is probably being provided by a service who employees people who work from home. They have phone lines installed and log into a website when available and their phone starts ringing. You could actually be calling someone down the street from you who works for the company. Sounds silly but it is a very inexpensive way to run technical support. The reason I know this is a friend of mine does this for a living. She has four different companies that she works for. She takes credit card orders for one company (Miss Cleo) and does Windows support for another one (Keen.Com). She quit her full time job and makes a good amount of money being self employed.
