I just recently backedup nba 2k3.  It has that dashboard update.

1)Should i rename the msdash.xbe back to xboxdash.xbe and move my evo-x dash, run the game so that it updates the dash and put back my evo-x dash?  Will the game try to update dash each time?

2)Will the updated dash try to update each time i play the game?

3)When I ftp the game to pc, can i delete the updated dash, and then iso the files burn and run backup correctly?

4) or can some one send me a tutorial or a link that explains what to do.

I do plan to get xbox live, and i read you wont be able to play backed up games or games from hd, i'll buy new xbox for that, but i want games for xbox i have now, but dont want to nuke my box with a undated dash i wont use
