I have a matrix chip with the dual boot mode.  

On every power up the matrix "bios" is loaded indicated by the green LED.  To switch to the original bios the user must load a game and then press eject, at this time the LED will turn red indicating that the original bios is active.  To switch back the user may either turn off system or repeat above.

My question is this, I boot boot a back up, then press eject and run the xbox live cd and update my dash with that will I even detect my modchip at all?  I plan to buy real games to play online such as UC, so I am not worried about playing burns on line, just want to know if this method will disable my chip so MS cannot tell it's there and it will not effect my game play.  Thanks
