They are just regular homemade gametypes , the ones that you make yourself.
The load problem is your XBox DVD ROM

i havent used the maps but have you tried just deleting them?

It was not smart to remove foundation, that is a playable map that comes with the original halo game, it just needs to be unlocked. now that you have deleted it, if you join a game with the map foundation then you will fail to load the map. Foundation was definetly not added by the oxm magazine DVD.
