GTA: SA - Keys To My Girlfriends Car

I've just been told "Denice really likes you, she has given you her car keys" and theres some old style car parked at her house but the doors are still locked? What do i need to do? I dont want to tow it to a garage.

Once you get the keys, you can open the doors just fine.  I did.

Maybe you need to give it a day, or go away and then come back to “refresh” the area.

Kinda crappy car though... just like the pimp suit.  But it’s good practice for other girlfriends that actually give you decent benefits when you’re dating them

And, yeah, you really should title your posts better.  I thought “What the hell...” until I noticed it was your post, then it donned on me.

Almost all Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas players now know that you have girlfriends... and obviously half of you have progressed far enough to know your girlfriend gives you the keys to her car...

So... having the title and sub-line:

"GTA: SA - Keys To My Girlfriends Car
Why can't i open the cars doors then?"

seems pretty clear to me...

Kenji, careful now...

I was the one you added "GTA: SA -" to the title so people would understand your topic.  That was right after Ghost_Face_Killah posted.  You wrote "Keys To My Girlfriends Car" which was odd, you gotta admit.. wink.gif

A lot of the members on the board aren't American. Some of the best devs aren't American. Don't take it personally, and by the way, have you gotten the car door open yet?

The same thing happened to me all I did was save my game and then go to Denises house and I could open the car door.

Agreed. I don't recall if I saved or just enough time passed (like the six hours that do when you save), but I got it, and then never bothered again.  What a clunker...

At least you get some decent girlfriends in San Fierro.. smile.gif

The car has to respawn. When you get the "keys", it just makes the car spawn with the doors unlocked.
