from another website:

QUOTE
However, to date no group has publically shared theirs yet... (Dynarox made mention of theirs awhile back, and more recently an SbN release NFO file boated "We know a secret *G*" along with today's Coded Arms DMU release NFO file stating "we hope there is a umd iso loader soon. ;p"). Only time will tell what the future holds for the PSP, but we have a feeling it won't be much longer before the PSP 'scene' gets a nice big kickstart into full gear!

Dynarox is the group making the most noise about having one in development, but its rumoured several other groups have loaders up and running internally, but not yet ready for release.

yep, IIRC, about 6 teams (major or not) are working on this very subject weather it's in groups or individually. i have nothing concrete on an approximate release date but i can only ASSUME it won't be too far away.

How large have the UMD dumps been? I'm anxious to see how these teams implement a UMD loader for the PSP and the 1gb sticks out there. biggrin.gif

they're suprisingly tiny from what I've seen.  The big title launch games range from 150-500mb give or take.  Which is ok by me.

yeah they are pretty small, i can only imagine though later on what the sizes will be, maybe in the future there will be ways to stream games like the gamecube

it was weird though, i dumped twisted metal today with umd dumper, the iso was 600 megs, which i thought was surprisingly high, so i went to nzbzone.com to look for the game there, and itw as 300mb, does umd dumper..dump well lol?

well when people host the iso files online they are most definately going to be in .rar format for size reasons.

All the UMD rips will fit on a 1gb stick, except 3 that I currently know of. I dont remember which 3, but Tony Hawk is one of them. I think Tiger Woods is another. I have games as small as 100mb, and up to approx. 900mb

Maybe..but I really think they are complete games. I own 10 PSP games, and I dumped them all. Their size matches the scene release size exactly. I also mounted the images on a virtual drive to compare the files, they all matched exactly. Maybe a few have missing videos, but I doubt it.
