The fist pumping stuff is irrelevant. Neither AJ nor Josh could see it. So AJ thought the ball hit the dirt and ran and Paul thought he caught it and tossed it. MY thing is this;     play every single play til you have no doubt that it's over. Whether it be football, baseball, polo, whatever. It would have taken nothing to toss the ball to first or tag AJ. I put this on Josh Paul.

No one wants to see the killer B's in a series? Come on, Biggio's been playing for about 50 years. Come on, no one cares about St. Louis. Am I the only person who simply doesn't are about anyone on St Louis. I mean, I know Pujols is a great great player, but no one really cares about him. He's not on the Superstardom level.

Plus as a Yankees fan Id hope itd send a message to NY to see all these guys they didnt try harder to get back in the series. Contreras, El Duque, Pettitte, Clemens.....

Superstardom to me is something more then just playing very well. Derek Jeter's a superstar. You dump him in a crowd and people who know nothing about baseball will recognize him. Albert Pujols doesnt have that going on for him. I never said he's not a great player. He is. I just saqid on a national level I dont think people care about the Cards nearly as much as some other teams. No matter how good they are. Clemens will help ratings, Pujols wouldnt.

mad.gif Look at players like Steve Yzerman, John Elway they stuck it out with their teams for years and got their championships. This is going to be one of the best pitching match ups in a World Series in sometime, this is one I might actually sit down and watch them to the end

Like I said before this is going to be a pitching matchup. Oswalt is great under pressure and outstanding at home. Great to see 2 teams in the WS that actually deserve it unlike those Yankees
