Anson Carter taunted by fans

Bananas were thrown by spectators when Worldstars forward Anson Carter was on the ice Sunday.

It is not 1960 anymore. This behavior is unacceptable. :angry:

I've seen objects thrown on the field at players, and objects thrown at fans countless times in both Canada and the States.

I've also witnessed Canadian players turning their back on the US national anthem, as well as physical fights between players and fans in the US.

Sure fans do that over here, but it isn't because of the colour of the players skin.

Fair enough. I haven't spent any time in Europe, but I do get the impression that they may be more racist and nationalistic than Americans.

Unlike Spain only a handfull(3 out of 40+ tho) British supporters gave DY some racial jib.
