ok, ive now got the demo (not saying how cos of others criticism)

and i can safely say WOW!
its awesome!
and it is genuinely scary! made me jump loadsa times, and i didnt wanna go in some rooms!
plus having it in 6.1 doesnt help much! makes it ten times worse!

and its still a mediocre "been there done that" game,,  so far as i can see from the demo.

nothing new,, just more blood and cursing.

camera and controls need work.

yeah i actually have a 7.1 DTS ES/EX system, but of course the Xbox doesnt output in 7.1. it does output in 6.1 with the 6th channel being a "fake" one.
still sounds the nuts though!

i think this game will be brilliant, only problem i see it having is when in first person (all the time for me cos i hate 3rd person games like this) it seems slow and a bit unresponsive.

but, im hoping they change that!


ill definately be buying this game!

Xbox games are still only 5.1, you will never see full support of anything more.

And are you ever not a douche?  I was simply telling LESTAT that there ARE 6.1 surround sound systems.  I not once mentioned the Xbox.  Do you just go around looking for flame wars or something?

Yea it is available in OXM. Has anyone seen this demo on any recent games?

If anyone is curious, EB games says this will ship in the US on March 8th.
