i just recently played the demo for "the suffering" and i have to say it is one of the best games i have played on the xbox in a long while, besides gta. the game is unreal, very creepy feel and definately keeps u on the edge.  cant wait for it to come out next month

This game is extremely scary ph34r.gif , it borrows alot of elements from the Silent Hill series.  Silent Hill 4 will definitely have some competition.

i personally cant stand silent hill... game is boring as hell.... but yea i cant wait for this dam game biggrin.gif  rolleyes.gif

I don't think the final version will have the bleeping in it.  When you first start the game is says that the final version may vary.   I'm guessing that they are just bleeping the demo to give it a slightly lower maturity rating and to allow it to be on a demo disc.

I don't know, I'm wary of Midway doing anything serious...

I played the Demo, I was unimpressed...hopefully the final version will be better.

100% not impressed,
same ol same ol,,  survival horror shooting and crap,, blah,, where are all the imaginations at in the developers.

and you wnat scarey,, dudes, and dudets,, you need to go try Fatal Frame (aka Project Zero for those who wish to import it, and its 100% english so no worries)
that is, by far,, the scarriest game ive ever played,, i have never in all my gaming been on the edge of my seat and scared to open the next door or walk around the corner.
that game MUST have the award for Scariest game EVER! and its worth every penny to rent or buy it.
now if i can only find a 100% complete game save or trainer.. lol id be makin sure those ghosts were the ones being scared.

Fatal Frame may be scary, but the gameplay, even though it's somewhat different, is insanely boring.  It's pokemon snap with ghosts.

And don't be so quick to judge which is the better game because The Suffering was a demo that was only about 10minutes long.
