I think they should call it NEXBOX and it should include dual processors so it could be backward compatible. It should include a cheap celeron to run the old games and the new risc processor for the new games and blow the doors off the ps3.. if they could pull it off where the chips could share resources (ram/video) etc the cost of the extra chip would be minimal.. hint hint if anyone from ms is reading this thread..

thats how the ps2 got so huge everyone bought one because they could buy a few new titles and still play all the old ones and made the transition more smoothly.
I think if they can keep backward compatabilty then they can greatly increase market share since lots of new users will buy the new game system buy a couple expensive new games and buy a bunch of cheap xbox greatest hits for their kids.
and of course the xbox loyalists (US) will all buy the new system as well since its such a superior product to the alternatives.

Man. Nothing fits. Seriously, its kind of frustrating. Not much you can do with the word XBOX and the number 2.

Unless they change the name and just call it XCase or Xlax or XWorld or something.

They're probably going to call it XBox 2006. That way they can date themselves, like they do with everything else!

I've always been partial to the name "BOB"

I think that would be a great name for the next system and they should mock the other companies for having anything more complicated then "BOB"

becasue after awhile they'll be so many jokes and stuff and good things about "BOB" that everyone will want a "BOB". Just from typing this and knowing the games that BOB could do is just incredible and I want BOB! My friends will want a "BOB". And everyone will have fun with "BOB".

Think of the comercial ideas one could have with "BOB"

if they dont go for XBOX-2,

perhaps it should be XBOX-05 or whatever year it gets released, except where its going to be an Xmas release they shoud call it by the next year.

then they can release a XBOX-08 a few years later, then a XBOX-NG (or somthing like that for 2011)

anyway i dont care what they call it as long as is backwardly compatible.

TO who ever said it should be called BOB, well I think MS already released something called BOB and it was a big failure, so I bet they avoid BOB like the plauge. I can't think of any good names, bet this is gonna be a tough one for MS. BEst I could come up with, micuberosoft,.
