I disagree.. I think it should be called xbox2. I think this way it can be compared to ps2... instead of stupid kid nintendo that names all of its systems diff.. (besides nes snes)

So.. when PS3 comes out, Xbox 2 will sound better? Nope. Think about it. If someone goes into a store, and sees "Xbox 2" and "Playstation 3".. which will they think is better?

Anyways, I prefer "Next Box" or "Xbox Next"

They should just call it the X-Box 3 and be done with it.

The more they do to convince Joe Consumer that the next X-Box is in the same league as the next Playstation, the better.

The fact that X-Box 2 will never have existed will soon fade away from memory.

Calling it Xbox 2 would be a very poor move from a marketing standpoint. However, I think "Xbox Next" sounds stupid. Even after referring to it as that for a few months it still sounds dumb. I think they can come up with something a little better than that.

If they really wanted to get the advantage over Sony they should just wait until the PS3 is realeased and then release the new Xbox the next day, but call it the Performance System 4. (Which would then be reffered to as the PS4)

What would you buy. The PS3 or the PS4?

In the newest issue of EGM, in the rumors section, it says the next xbox will not come with a hard drive. What gives? This would really turn people away from modding it.

How can the next xbox not have hard drive, if it don't then it's a stupid move.

The next xbox is meant to be an entertainment device in your living room, replacing PVRs and DVD recorders, how the hell will it achieve that without a hard drive.

The best thing would be that it comes with a DVD-RW, now that'll be cool, and considering DVD-RW are as cheap as £65, think how cheap they will be in a year or two.

i don't like xbox next either. if they make a third one, what are they gonna call it? "the one after next" "xbox next next"

numbers are better for progression...
