Xboxdynamic.umd And Player Referances

In the Rainbow Six xboxdynamic.umd there are several referances to iMPPlayer and iPlayer.  Can anyone tell me the differances between the two.  I am assuming that one is multi-player settings and the other is single.  Is this correct?  Also if you make an change to the IMPPlayer settings do these become globel?  Any help is appricated.
