Another Gamesave Transfer Question

I have a 1.0 xbox with the pso gamesave on it and a invalid eeprom (not banned, just missing somehow from a stock box). I will flash a new eeprom, but then the gamesave won't work, according to what I've read.

Since it is linked to the old, invalid eeprom, and there is no backup of that eeprom since it was stock, is there hope of keeping this gamesave? Would there be hope of transferring it to a 1.6 xbox?
