Dark Side Of The Moon And Wizard Of Oz
« on: August 02, 2005, 06:59:00 PM »

Don't know if anyone else knew but I just listened today, If you play dark side of the moon after the MGM Lion roars 3 times in the movie The Wizard of Oz, the album goes in sync with the movie, and some parts even say things in the movie. I watched it at my friends house today, it was so cool. It's got me listening to floyd again, things like this that they do just shows how much of a great band they are.

Usually every summer at this outdoor stadium they have a show that's just this movie playing with DSOTM synced to it and it's pretty cool to just go and watch.

lol I'm still puzzled by the intro, the word 'time' starts with a capital and its not the first word of the sentence, and I think we all know Time is the best song on the cd  B)

Times a good song, One of the best on DSOTM. Money's also a good track along with Great Gig In The Sky etc.
DSOTM is not my favourite Floyd album though - I'm quite into The Wall, I like the film..  you should check it  out.

Comfortably Numb & Wish You were Here are my Floyd faves. All of them are great though.

Yeah that's a really good movie! Very little dialogue, but still gets the point across. But my favourite part in that has to be "The Trial" part of it.. its really weird but I liked it.

Oh, and how could I forget to mention comfortably numb in my last post? tongue.gif  GREAT SONG!

I've got a great album a buddy of mine bought when he went to see Phish play in Vegas.  It's called "Dub Side of the Moon" by the Easy Star All-Stars.   It's DSOTM redone in a Reggae style.  I suggest you all look it up and get it.  Simply amazing.
