I'll have to say my favorite band is a group called Guster. Not too many people have heard of them, but their music is just amazingly fun to listen to. The drummer plays everything with his hands, no drumsticks. Check 'em out. If you're looking for a few tracks to try, check out "Barrel of a Gun," "Careful," "Parachute," "Great Escape" and one track that's completely different than anything else they have done, "Jesus on the Radio". Their CD's have obvious growth from one another. The first one being mostly acoustic guitars, second adding in some electric stuff, third adding synthesizer stuff, and the last one....can't really describe, but a lot different, but all very good. Check 'em, get the word out. Everyone I've introduced to Guster has gone out running to share it with others.
