try using sparkedit 2.5, 3.01 doesnt compress, and 3.02 doesnt open all maps

Ctrl+ Alt+ Del
End all unimportant processes. (you should be down to like 4 or 5)
Open Sparkedit (you know the thing that does that one thing to that one level?)
compress the mappage
if no worky then your quirky (no jk)
if it doesnt work you dont have enough mem... simple as that
