I have just released my WrestleMania 21 ModPack v1!
The whole thing is a Addon Pack, so no old characters are overwritten!

Sweet release man, works great. This got me thinkin about the possibilities. Just wondering if it would be possible to make a created wrestler, then take him and make it like he was in the game originally. I started messing around with it and I managed to add Hulk Hogan to the character select screen with his face and the loading screen icon works. Now would it be possible for me to create him in CAS then go into my saved game and take his hogan.k file and other files and put him in the game? I hope this makes sence....

Yes, this is possible and does in fact work.

But the issue with this is that these charaacters usualy look like shit ingame because of the incredibly low resulution of the CAW Textures (128x256 Torso texture anyone?).

But I will try to make a masked Kane the next days using this technique.

I asked this in another thread that never got answered... would it be possible to mod a caw of a non wrestler, like Jason Freddy, or even spiderman? i would love to see that done... it would really look like them too!

Hey hans, ive been messing around with it as i said before....what files to i need from my created wrestler to make him work? So far i have been able to get the wrestler selection icon and loading screen icons to work, but it freezes at the loading screen. What could I be doin wrong? Also, do I need to convert my wav files of my wrestlers entrance music to anything special? Also...lol...what are .csf files, and do i need one for my created wrestler that I am putting in the game?

The only files I have found from my created wrestler in my saved game files is the hogan.k and icon_hogan.k files. Are those the only ones I need? I sent you a PM too by the way.

IAteYourMom, Im not sure if that is possible yet....as soon as i get this working, i will look into it for you...

IAteYourMom, get XXI explorer and fiddle with the cas res files in DVD.wad i personally don't think it would be easy to accomplish, but its probably not imposible if you are willing to put in the work. you just need to find models thet look right and change the texture to suite your needs.

If you were to edit a wrestler already in, you would have problems giving them individual moves and specific soundsets.

Thats right, its not impossible, but would take quite a bit of time to do. I am adding my wrestlers by creating them with everything already available in the game the best I can. Some are pretty easy, such as masked kane, original mankind, etc.

This is a stupid question but is it possible to put this mod pack onto a data disc and get it to work on the xbox that way?

In step 7 where it says

7. Now Copy the folders:

"CAB"
"characters"
"interface"
"modpack_v1"
"textures"

and your new HD.WAD File simply into your WM21 folder on your Xbox and overwrite the existing files.

I'm not sure where to copy the folders to.

anyone have any success fiddling with movesets?

I notice that the cas files in tdata have movePacks, but them must be stored slightly differently to the prebuilt wrestlers, or have some kind of header, becasue you cannot just replace.

I get the feeling there is a main bank of id numbers for each wrestler, the program has to know somehow that id52 connects to id1164905 to id2544

i feel i am missing something, and it is staring me in the face... snickering...

srb25x, you either need to FTP to your xbox hhd (if the game is stored on your hdd) Easiest way to do that is type:http://xbox:<whatever]http://xbox:<whatever your password is, defaultly xbox>@<xbox's ip add> Then if you have a larger hdd, you might store your games on F go into F, then probably games and find wrestlemania XXI. That is the game folder. Copy your stuff to there.

If its not stored on hdd, and you don;t want t to be, you have to extract all the game dvd info offf the disc, add these files to them, and burn it. there are special procedures for the ripping and burning that you can find anywhere, probably here. (I have never done it)

You know you are in the game dir if you see DVD.wad, DVD2.wad DVD3.wad, HD.was, morphTable.xml, superstarIcon.xbx, default.exe etc
