foreign cars blow. get american cars. big cars. not turbo'd focuses. they blow too.
you need a supercharger.
i have a 4.3 V6 with a supercharger. 325HP. 250 stock. btw. small 8's can be good too. my dad has a 2000 Jag XJR with a supercharged 8 making 370 HP and 385 lb/ft STOCK.
but the bigger the engine the better.
yeah, you can get hundreds of HPs in a 4 banger... but that's at like 10,000 RPM.
who the fuck wants a car that has the RPM's of a Dremel?
I redline at 6K and make 350lb/ft.
torque is what matters... not HP.
This is ignorant at best. Foreign cars blow??? You state yourself that one of the cars that beats you is a Jag XJR. I'm sure that I could list of several foreign cars much faster then your Blazer. Frankly I'd love to know what it can run in the quarter mile.
Have you ever driven a high revving car. They can be very enjoyable to drive.

The american V8 has its place in automotive history, however, there are certainly equal if not better imports. The age of the muscle car is over.

try living a country where petrol (gas) is expensive (79p = $1.43 per litre) & see how much money you have left driving a car that gets you 12 MPG on a good day.
there's nothing wrong with foreign cars. I currently drive a '00 Ford Puma 1.7i V-tec (built in Spain apparently) & a '02 BMW M5
Personally I wouldn't buy an american car (I've driven a fair few in my time, ranging from Mustangs to Vipers).
My next car which I'm picking up in Sept/Oct will be an Evo VIII or R34 Skyline (depending on finances) to replace the M5 - the puma is far too goo a car to get rid of.

it's a bit heavy for the type of car, older m5's where alot lighter, but BMW have added loads of extras onto it.
Basically I just want a Skyline
took one for a test drive the other day
can't wait until september

I'll assume (and I may be incorrect) you live in northam, so a skyline is probably not your best option (toll booths and all that jazz, plus you're probably not left handed).
So you have the obvious choice, buy an Infiniti G35 which is an R35 Skyline without the GTR package, OR you can get another Nissan, like the 240SX, and get a skyline engine (RB26DETT) put in it. You'll have over 350HP because the 240SX is so light, and you'll outperform a corvette z06.

What about British cars? Couldk those not be included in other European cars. Aston Martin comes to mind.

No one here drives an AM or a Jaguar (plus Jaguar is more or less Ford).
