Strange Occurance When Streaming Or Ftp'ing

I set up my friend xbox with XBMC and for some reason when he goes to play something his computer shuts off. When We try to upload something to it, as soon as we hit transfer it shuts off.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I took it to my house and and tried it hooked up to my computer and it works just fine. Even better then my xbox  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

So whats going on with it at his place?

It's a fault with his PC. Provide details on it's OS and firewall/antivirus software packages.
