I'm not sure if I'm forgetting anything because I did this mod 3 years ago and it was working perfectly.
http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/digital-output.php
Then, about 1.5 years ago I had to move so I stopped using the digital coax output. Since then I've updated XBMC. I got a new receiver a week ago so I thought about using that output again. I enabled digital output in the regular XBOX dash and in XBMC, but I don't get any output.
I have the HD A/V pack and I just connected the video components and left the audio portion unconnected.
Am I forgetting to do anything?

Update. The stereo connect gives sound. Just the Digital Coax option still doesn't do anything.
BTW. If I posted in the wrong forum, please move it for me.

I'd be curious about this...I think I'm going to give my Advanced A/V pack the same upgrade soon and would like to know of any speed bumps.
Did you make sure that Digital was enabled in the hardware settings?
