you don't drag files over xbmctex you need to run it as a commandline tool  rolleyes.gif
you need to stick every image you want into a dir with no subdirs put xbmctex.exe into that dir and run it from the command line like this
CODE
xbmctex.exe -quality high

or you could copy that line into a text file save it as somthing like MakeXPR.bat in the same folder as xbmctex.exe then just double click it and it should make a textures.xpr file that you need to rename to somthing before ftping over so you don't over write all the default ones

I dont know if you missed this or if you dont understand it but if you follow this I cant see how you can go wrong???

***WHAT WOULD CAUSE XBMCTEX TO RUN- THAN CRASH****

okay let me restate my problem now that its not 5:00 in the morning and i'm not flaming pissed...

this is exactly what i've done.... i made 7 pngs, put them in a file named bladetest. I then put xbmctex in the same file. I put bladetest in c:\. so i type c:\bladetest\xbmctex.exe -quality high. It runs and i get an error.

I belive 99% i'm running the program correctly, its runs for 8-12 secs and always locks up at the same point. windows xp then comes up asking me if i want to send an error report to ms because xbmctex can no longer run. I belive the problem is in something else, i don't know what but ive followed the insructions, tex works, then crashes.

WHAT WOULD CAUSE XBMCTEX TO RUN- THAN CRASH, thats where i'm at...i think blink.gif

THANKS ALOT FOR THE HELP,  I'D BE LOST W/O IT! smile.gif

in the folder you have your .pngs and xbmctex.exe try this.

right click xbmctex.exe and create shortcut.
right click the shortcut and select properties.
in the target line, put at the end -quality high
save it
double click it.

If that doesn't work maybe you got a bad download.

Could you maybe post blank templates with a bit more smoother edges? If not that's cool, but the ones JezzX posted are insane trying to get them to look smoother. lol

Well they aren't meant to be base images and modified I just made them to use as a layer in your graphics program so you can get the curves of your own original images right

ok this is what i have so far it's not great but i can improve apon it i am sure ... I am having issues getting the custom bg's to apply even afternaming them properly the ones shown in the picture below are applied by selecting them from the xbox's wallpaper folder i have.... i am also having issues getting the curve of the top and bottom of the wallpaper to show the left sides curve ... here is the picture let me know what i need to do to adjust,

also when i add the mc360_logo.png to the xpr it only applies to the kai blade?
