Can't Ftp To My G: Drive
« on: February 26, 2004, 12:40:00 PM »

The other day I upgraded my hard drive to a nice new Seagate 200 GB Barracuda Plus, and I flashed my chip with X2 4981.67 to complement it. For some strange reason though, I cannot write any files to my G: drive, and the first time I transferred files to it through FTP, everything in E: was corrupt.
I tried transferring to it with Avalaunch, which for some reason doesn't recognize G: (same with XBMP/C), and then I tried Evox (slayer's disc, which I used to format the drive) which wouldn't accept any files going to G:, it simply returned the error "requested action not taken". WTF is going on?

I did successfully transfer 57GB of data to F: through Avalaunch.

An easy fix is to 'MAP THE Xbox' as a mapped drive under winxp.
There's a tut in the tut's section, to show you how to do it.

I don't have my G 'partition' active on my Xbox, put can still use it as an FTP dump on my network. (I use it as a 30GIG overflow drive for my computers)
