Hi, i was  just reading through some of the threads about porting this game over and porting that game over.  Has anybody thought about porting an open source engine over, this way people could make some serious games and all these people that keep asking for this game and that game can wait, as people will have the chance to recreate some of these games to how they like.  Anyway just an idea..

That would be cool, especially if it was a nice powerful engine that can be customised to make just about anything...

There must be something out there that can be ported, I just wish i had the knowledge to undergo such a project.
