This is really begining to piss me off, I CANNOT open any RAR or ZIP from #XBINS without gitting a damn curruption error. I've read all the other posts and how you need the most recent version of WinRAR and all, I have the most recent, 3.20, I've tried it on 3 differant computers and still no luck. I even gave up a while ago, but now I decided to get Avalaunch .47 and still gitting this problem....Anyone got any idea why this isn't working?

Well, my source is a direct download (a small benefit of authoring MXM) from their FTP. Perhaps the DCC Bot is screwed up?

I don't know if there's a way to check validity of files over DCC. I don't use IRC that much (extremely rare).

Besides IRC, it's also available via usenet.

Might save you a bit of frustration.

I don't think it could be their DCC Bot, it has always done this to me, for months. I just gave up.
Thanks for your help....I'll give usenet a try.

What that can be the problem, is that FlashFXP download as ASCII, try to download as binary (settings, transfer)

He figured it out... his FTP app was downloading it as ASCII, instead of BINARY.
