Sup,
So Lemme start out by saying this site freakin ownz! I'm a big fan.
I used the search tool and I did some looing on the net and Maybe im asking the wrong question but basicly,
I am totally new to modding.  I have an Xbox with a Softmod on it.  I am using Evolution X dash and I am tring to use XBTOOL to change the boot up logo and change the led colors.  Ok seems simple enough, but here is where I run into my problem.  Before you can change anything, you first need to open the bios file.
well I have no idea where I get that bios.bin file from.  I connected to my Xbox's HD using Flashftp and I could not find a Bios.bin file.  I am guessing this issue is totally based on my noobish lack of knowledge.  Where do I find this file to mod? Is it on my XB's HD somewhere? do I have to download it from somewhere?
and If I have to DL it what do I do with the file once im done with it? or where do I put it?
sorry for such a trivial post but I have been messing around with this for a few days and kind of frustrated.  I saw the Tutorial on using XBTOOL but it didnt say where to get the bios from.  Was there another tutorial I missed?

you can't change the boot logos and colors with a softmod.
the softmod loads after the xbox goes through the stock boot process.

but you can change the LED's in the settings of your dash.

no problem.
i actually didnt realize that there was no setting for the LED's in evox.
unleashx and xbmc both have it.

LOL I feel like such a dumbass, I have been searching for like 2 days and it only took like 15 secs to do with XMBC.  thanks for the help I really appricaite it
