Audio Exploit Installer/remover.

could I try adding that to my xml and try formatting F: and G: if I haven't replaced my original drive?  I don't want to open the box to find out if it has a Seagate drive, but this could give me the answer.  If there is nothing there to format then it shouldn't hurt anything correct?

I am pretty sure that all OEM original xbox hard drives are only 8 GB.

E: will have free space on it that is already formated (3 - 4 GB)

I wouldnt  try formating any thing unless you actually put a bigger HD in.

While you were looking around the file, is there any way to give the swapless track a name? Rather than it being blank?

Seems a shame it has to be blank..

I wasnt aware that you could "downgrade" the dash board.

what dashboard did he have?
what version is the kernel?
what version is his xbox?

is there a url or tutorial on how to downgrade the dashboard?
or revert the dashboard to 4920 or whatever is necessary?

boog, some xboxes have original Seagate hard drives with 10gb capacity.  I don't feel like opening my box and voiding the warranty, but this formatting ability might allow me to determine if it has the extra 2 gigs and use them if they are there.  Theoretically, nothing should break if there is nothing there to format, right?

have a small problem, i have installed the hack via 007 it works a treat then after a few times using the console it wont load mxm it give the error21 message "xbox needs service" anyone else had this? or know a solution?

well I just got the error 21 msg.

my audio file looks like a chineese symbol.

I guess I am going to have to do ....

QUOTE
The audio hack sometimes becomes corrupted. If you boot up the gamesave you will find an item under the Audio section named "Reinstall DB" (or something like that) that will fix this for you.

BTW, this IS in the readme!

or reinstall the MXM package from 007 saved game

tomorrow morning.

Morden really does answer the same questions over and over and over...
I even saw the answer to the format question I had earlier... I feel really bad. =[

On a side note

Um... Crimson Skies... having trouble getting it to start.

put in on the HD.

loaded into the game.

chose single player.

freezes at loading screen with all the deffinitions of what the buttons do and what the controls are.

press reboot button...

get back into MXM.

go to load Crimson Skies  MXM just sits there forever saying "Loading... Crimson Skies"

press reboot button...

go into memory section

delete anything associated with Crimson Skies.

boot into MXM

loaded into the game.

chose single player.

freezes at loading screen with all the deffinitions of what the buttons do and what the controls are.

rinse... repeat.

I tried using xFER and Qwix both to put the image on the hard drive.

Anyone know if there is a fix?

thanks in advance.

UPDATE:

Crimson Skies not working PBL fix

man my head is spinning after reading that... as far as I can tell I need to set it up to boot evox dashboard and sign the xbe to play Crimson Skies off of the hard drive.

very confusing

QUOTE
HOW TO BOOT CRIMSON SKIES FROM DVD-R OR THE E DRIVE

the game will not load from phoenix so dont use phoenix !!!

put audio signed phoenix in your apps folder and delete it from e:/ then take a copy of evox and sign it with the audio key
rename the out.xbe to linux.xbe and send it to the e drive with the skins and evox.ini

now when u load the audio exploit it will take you to evox BEFORE phoenix and because phoenix is in your apps folder SIGNED you can load phoenix at any time

now sign the default.xbe from crimson skies with the audio key your be able to load it from dvdr or the e drive without useing phoenix
from warbeast

Yeah, no.
Crimson Skies can't be used with PBL. You can get it running with fonts by signing the cs xbe, though.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank Morden and wish him a very happy new year on behalf of all the kiddies in my area who got a new xbox for christmas and now have the audio exploit installed (by moi) including a couple of games and kawa X

Talk about happy bunnies and it only takes me a few mins with my memory card and MA

Just one thin (I know I should search but don't have much time as I'm at work) is the "fixed" audio file available from the usual places to prevent the audio corrupting (I have to keep nipping out to fix broken installs)

Thanks again buddy - I used to use the Font exploit mostly but your package is just soooo damn easy to use.

I read in this thread that you needed to have the 4920 dashboard to make this hack work.  What I did was take the dash out of one of slayers disks and moved it to the xbox c drive.  I have done this before and it work everytime.  This is the only time I have ever heard of error 13.  Any ideas on how i can fix it.
