I'm in the process of making "Audio_Signed_Phoenix_Bios_Loader_1.3.zip" i'll post it on * DO NOT LIST WAREZ CHANNELS * & alt.binaries.xbox once i'm done. It will have the RC4 & EEPROM keys already included for the people who don't know how to hex / ones that are too lazy like I did for Audio_Signed_Phoenix_Bios_Loader_1.2.zip.

enjoy

Here's how:

The x2 4977 regular old multi boot bios (not the bfm one) has both eeprom keys in its 2bl.

Use xbtool to unpack the bios.

Use a hex editor of some sort to open up 2bl.img

The 1.1 EEPROM key is 16 bytes starting at offset 0x1c

The 1.0 EEPROM key is 16 bytes starting at offset 0x3c

so do both keys have to be entered... or just for whatever console you have.. and remove the other?

why did they have to make it harder! lmfao tongue.gif

Ok Can anybody verify that this works Ive tried running it as a secondary app through evox with and without keys for the EEPROM and with the 4977 and EvoxD6 EF bios and it still loads ok so why does it load ok If the EEPROM keys are wrong?

I dont want to overwrite version 1.2 to find that it wont boot or I have the wrong key
