You can't. If you don't like it, don't use that bios.  The purpose of it is to spin up the hard disk so the bios can read your x2config.ini.

It's impossible to get rid of it unless they come out with a different version of the bios.

i just upgraded to 5032 and I was wondering where am i suppose to put the x2config.ini file??  I flashed my xbox and it seems to work fine.  But this file seems important though I don't have it anywhere on my xbox.  Any help would be appreciated.  TIA

Not being rude or anything, but the only time you mention on any of the press releases about where to put the file is under "X2 5030 BETA BIOS"

PS posting about bugs and requests and possible issues is really useless in this forum

if you want something done you have to post on our own X2Cl support forums

I created an xbmc.bmp logo that x2ConfigMakerPCv2.7.1 shows in the preview, I placed it next to the .ini file in e:\ , but when I boot my xbox I still get the default logo from the bios.  What's wrong.  Does it need to be a 256 color image?

It is really a shame that this bios is not going to come in a version with configurations injected, so we can all get rid of this startup waiting time, I am just telling you, this release seems to be pretty solid but there is just a lot of people who will not use it because of this Live! config thing. Then you would probably tell me to use another bios, well I will do that, as soon as I get my PC running again I will flash back to the also solid release X2 4983.06 because then I does not need to wait, that is more important to me than some fancy and (in my opinion) useless stuff that just takes a hell of a time to load...
