You cant use someone elses original because the hd keys wont match. Use the unlocked one and see what happens.

If im not mistaken tommy your subnet mask is wrong should be 255.255.255.0 instead of 255.255.0.0 you are using a class "C" ip address (192.x.x.x) so your subnet doesnt match hope this is your only problem..

ok i swtched my brother's unlocked hd with mine flashed the x2 mod with the new exectuer bios and it booted slayers cd instllaler no problem

but i hope that helps someone with a problem about this bios thanks

you need to format it with a disk first if you didn't do that already, check the tutorials its has one how to set it up i believe

that's just it i need to use slayer 2.5 installer but i boot it up and the damn built in ftp pop's up

If u have ur old hard drive, go ahead and pop it in so you can reflash ur bios. Then try and format ur hard drive.
