i never tried it by workgroup. wen i ftp my xbox to pc i go to network share( the one under all the hard drives..). and just put the username as xbox and no pass. then i open up smartftp and quick connect 192.168.0.30 and port 21 and username as xbox and then no pass and click connect then it says needs password then just put in xbox. and works perfect for me. and i think you can onyl switch vids and music with xbmc. and by the way this isnt xbmc forum.
