New Tutorial On Booting Backups

Hi there,

Please don't flame me too hard. I've been searching the forums for a couple of hours now, and I'm having a hard time finding the information that I need.

007aufsavewithEvoxInstaller - where can I find it? I was able to find the complex loader with less difficulty.

Thanks!

I have found a folder entitled "LOADER.v1.00-FX.XBOX-COMPLEX" on FTP, but there are three files in it: one is an MSInfo file, one is a WinRar archive and one is an SFV file. I assume that I should extract the WinRar archive and follow the instructions in the tutorial, but must I do anything with the other files in order to get this exploit working?

SFV files allow you to verify that RAR files are working.  using WinSFV [iirc] you can load the SFV and use it to check the rest of your RAR files.  Then if you have one bad downloaded pack in 40 you can download just that pack instead of all 40.

I've been looking all over for a good tutorial.  The .nfo the Free-X author released was crap.

Just 2 questions:

1)  I have a v1.0 XBOX, should there be any problems?  (I hear contradictory statements all over this forum, but you sound like you know what you're talking about)

2)  Must I do anything to my TSOP?  Is the installer gonna flash it, or will it remain unchanged?

Thanx again.

ok, i dont have a fonts folder on my c: drive already, so i made one and tossed good old bert and snuffle into it.  Now here is what i want to know

1. Do I put the xbox.xtf and xboxbook.xtf into the font folder
2. For the Peonix version of the exploit do i put bert and snuffle into the fonts folder.
3. Do I need to rename the default.xbe folder to xboxdash.xbe
4. Would it work if I took a diffrent app/game and tossed them into the 007 save folder on my hd if i just want to open thoese?

Thank  you
