Watching Dvd's Without The Playback Kit?

Hey me again and if you read my other post you now that I am cheap.  That means im not going to spend 30$ on a DVD remote kit to watch DVD's!!  Is there a way to watch them with out this??? I have a DVD remote from my old DVD player and it looks exacly like the xbox one!!! Can i rig up a resiever so I can use it with my Xbox? (I don't have a modded Xbox!)  <

The only way I know of is to have a modded xbox and use dvdx2 which is a program that lets you control your movies.  Could asways buy a third party one there cheaper than MS ones.

Used are always good. Ive gotten lots of good crap while standing around at the local EB or gamestop, when people go to trade stuff in you just offer them more than the tradein value. it works best when you are friends with the people who work there, otherwise mall security gets called, lol  <

just mod the damn xbox and get a dvd program that need not a dvd dongle or remote  <
