my infocard still shows my ip and f:unavailable and g:unavailable instead of c: and e: i am getting so pissed right now...

yeah it matters, when you're in widescreen mode, it looks at the gamercard_commons.xml in the pal16x9 folder rather than the PAL folder, so you have to modify that one instead.

lol ok, but you can't use the one I sent you, just try editing the one already in the pal16x9 directory.
