Whoever told you that doesnt know what he is talking about.  Like you were told, use a bios that supports lba48, you can use it is.

EDIT: and it isnt 'slayers' that it works or dont work with, its EVOX.  'Slayers' is not an application.  And yes, evox works FINE with large hard drives, both with a large F partition and a 7th partition.

QUOTE
New SlaYer's EvoX Auto-Installer v2.5 features (built on v2.1):

<snip>
* Support for >137GB HD's and the G: Drive

Read here for the rest the of features that you believe "Slayers" has.
FYI: the '>' character means 'Greater than'

'SLAYERS' HAS NO EFFECT ON THE MAX HARD DRIVE SIZE.
THE SUPPORT IS FOUND IS IN THE BIOS, JUST LIKE WAS SAID.

Furthermore, please stop saying "slayers supports this and that".
'Slayers' has NOTHING to do with that, the features come from the BIOS's and APPS that are installed.  The "SLAYERS" part of "SlaYer's EvoX Auto-Installer" is the action scripts that copies files from the CD to the hard drive.
EVOX flashes the bios onto the chip.  That BIOS is what lets you use a large drive, not anything that SLAYER did.
EVOX copies the files to the hard drive that let you use a 7th partition, EVOX formats the hard drive, again, nothing that SLAYER did.

Do you get it now?

You act like you are clueless, you were told:
QUOTE
Don't worry about what Slayer's says. It's the BIOS that matters. Flash your modchip with Executer 4979_06 FIRST and then install your new Hard Drive with Slayer's. Your F: Drive will use up all the available space past the required C and E partitions.

Pay attention when people answer your questions.

What?  That post that was on August 9th? You should read THIS THREAD made on September 1st.

I can't believe that actually trying to make an argument that we are lying to you.
One last time....

ONE HUNDRED THIRTY SEVEN GIGABYTES IS NO LONGER THE LIMIT FOR THE HARD DRIVE.
YOU CAN USE ANY HARD DRIVE UPTO 2.2 TERABYTES.

Once again, do you get it now?

I already told you... 'SLAYERS' doesn't format anything, EVOX formats.

If you actually the responses to your questions you would know the answer is YES.

Sionzz, I dont know why you keep popping into other threads asking the same thing over and over.  You are already on your last straw thanks to comments you made in August.  Do I need to quote some of those or do you think you can remember?

smile.gif It does it all.  But you need to do a G partition because F can only be about 130gigs for some reason.  I just got a 200 gig HD

Wrong - fatx has no problems with partitions smaller than 256gig.
