One response was saying yes there are USB ports, the other from Brahm is saying NO the external USB drive will not work.

Reason being.

USB drives, or anything being plugged into the USB ports will be seen as a memory card.

Some say that only 64mb will be seen by the XBOX (or was it 32?) due to memory card restraints.
Others have said you wont even be able to launch XBEs from it, due to the fact it will be seen as a memory card..

Hope that clears up SOME confusion  B)

You can only add bigger hard drives to the Xbox if 1) if they are IDE (not USB) and 2) if you have a modchip.

These topics are very well documented, and I would advise starting at the Total n00bs guide to everything (the pinned topic):
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?act...T&f=18&t=105495

Palmore - I believe it was 32Mb restriction on the memory cards because that's what the Mega-X-Keys are.

ic,thank you very much..

so, the only way to increase my storage for my hard drive is just change a new one?

am i able to just format my computer hard drive and replace it with the xbox one?

if so, is there any thing I should be cautious of? I mean, since it seems to be a simple procedure just to replace the old one to a new one, is there anything i do that will like break my xbox or my hard drive?
