3 Flashing Green Then Red Help!

ok i have done 5 xboxs before and now i am gettin the 3 flashing light turning on and off then stays flashing red. i have gotten this before but now i have tried everything and i am baffled. i can't figure it out. please help. also i tried the MS HD and it just beeps. i think this xbox needs life support. its a 1.0 using matrix mod chip and was using evox 2.4 dash. please help this kid is moving this weekend and i don't want him to waste his cash

Is the hdd locked.  I got an error similiar to that, I'm not sure its the same thing your explaining, but try it.
