need help on flashing cheapmod.......trying to do it via slayers ver 2.0 but can't find flash chip util. (i know its under system utilities but i dont have a system utilitites) i have system management .......also can i use a matrix programmer to program the chip thanks.

you have to use the boot cd of the slayer. tha option it is there

if i use the boot disk how does it read the bios file in c:bios?

You can still read files on the Xbox hard drive while you are using the Boot-CD.  No differnt than booting to Dos with a 3.5" floppy on a Windows 95 computer and reading the files on teh C-Drive (well, slightly different, but same basic theory)
