Couple of us have an issue with the Xbox, which I hope with all the people on this cool forum, we'll be able to figure out whats going on!

Box Setup:
Xbox v1.1
X-cuter 4976.02
EvoX Dash 1.8.3752 (With IGR OFF)
80Gb Drive

Network Setup:
XBOX <---Crossover Cable---> Laptop/PC <--- Wireless Card---> Router <--- INTERNET

The above setup allows me to FTP to my xbox and also run XBConnect on the notebook and find my box and play..

Problem:
95% of the time, when connecting with XBConnect, and trying System Link the Xbox will Lock Up!!! We have had this working before, a few times, but now while I host, and a friend trys to connect, we notice traffic, and the hosting box will lock up. This happens with a backed up game or even the original.

The other issue is that 50% of the time, if I try and restart my notebook or ftp to the box, the box locks up..

These problems are the same on a friends as well.....

No Network, everything works 100%

If anyone can shed some light on what might be going on, it would be good!

check ur bios...could be that

OK!!!

After some hours of testing, I reverted back to 4974 and all is working without ANY lockups...

Has any pone else had the same issues?

Strange.. Try to go BACK to 4976.02 (new download, non-colormodded, etc..) and see if the problem comes back.

Also, I'm moving this to Newbie Chat; mainly just to get it out of general and because there's no specific place for it.
