Wow this looks cool. I am really looking forward to it.
My suggestion would be better script integration. Scripts in XBMC are kind of clumsy and feel "added on".

I'd prefer that they were run like programs with icons and a regular screen dedicated to them.

Speaking of which it would make more sense to have a My Games section and an option My Programs section for scripts and utilities.

Im not sure if either of these ideas could be implemented in a skin or if XBMC would need fundamental changes.

Just a couple of things that I feel detract from the greatness of XBMC as a whole.

The whole Idea of scripts is that they are Add-ons! lol

But you say you want it appear with icons etc, it already does. The scripts window is no different from the My Programs window etc (in pm3). MC360's Scripts section is a blade that slides in, the options appear in a list on the blade and are launchable from there. We feel this is a great addition. You press start from anywhere in the skin (apart from fullscreen video/music vis etc) and then choose Extras, then Scripts, so 3 clicks all fast as hell get you to the scripts menu from ANYWHERE.

Actually the My Program window is alot better.

1.  Can specify several virtual folders
2.  Autoscans for default.xbe

IMO the MyScripts window is really half-assed  sleep.gif

Those two points do not affect the presentation or browsing of skins compared to what it already is. Scripts dont use XBE's, they are .py python files, so My Programs has nothing to do with scripts!

Edit the Dialogsubmenu.xml (?) in your Skin/PAL folder. Or download the SudMenuEditor Script from www.xbmcscripts.com (a lot easier).

It does not work in the Release from March 16. because of a Bug in a Python function.
Which Release do you use?
I will test it with the March 20. Release.

OK.
I tested with the 20.03 Release and it works fine.
But I'm using PAL.
Could anyone test this with NTSC please?

First off, this isn't really the place to be talking about the SubMenuEditor script.

Second is it really that hard just to open the xml file and do it yourself.

For a dev and support on a script,  I reckommending asking on in the XBMC Python Scripting Forum on xbox-scene or the offical xboxmediacenter forums under the appropirate python sector.

To edit the xml, Transfer the file to your Computer, Open Notepad (or other text editor) then open the xml file, and have a look,  press keys on your keyboard to make changes.

To start with this sounds more like a XBMC feature request [For a Impoved My Script Window]

Look you edit the file in the PAL folder. Edit that and it will chagne the menu.

NOT THE NTSC FOLDER

XBMC acutomatically scales and does stuff to the pal to converting it to NTSC, there should only be the font.xml in the NTSC folder anyway.
