Trying to get xTV to look absolutely sweet on my tv.

Im running 16:9 PAL

It's great, but I find the font a bit small

I have the same set up and notice the same thing.I wanted to try and make the fonts and things bigger and in aspect ratio etc but have no idea how.

If you do find out and manage to modify it all to look as it should in 16:9 could you share the files? I wouldn't know where to start to edit all those things.

Good luck in your quest and Cheers!  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

How do you record a stream when you're using the xTV skin?

Is it possible to make a button to do this?

(I used to do this when I used to use PMIII ages ago, you'd hit the menu button when you're in full-screen, and then you could press RECORD).

It would be great to have this feature in xTV, I've set it all up nicely with icons for BBC podcasts and shoutcast streams. But the icing on the cake would be the ability to record.

Cheers

Just open the xTV folder and open the folder for the resolution you use and edit the <size> and <aspect> tags to your liking in the font.xml file. The skin must be reloaded in order for the changes to take effect.

I want to make a power-off button on the bottom-right of the xTV main menu, is this possible?
Ideally, it would only be highlighted if you hit RIGHT on the remote, leaving up and down, just for the main menu entries.

any ideas?

Anyone have a thought on this?

This not really a skin related question, but you can find the answer here.

Comrades,

WONDERFUL job on the xTV skin.
I am the biggest fan of Choke's Project Mayhem 3 but I definitely
will have a try on xTV, since it looks very nice and clean.

Question:
- I used to tweak PM3 textures.xpr using the XBMCtex tool to my own taste,
can I do the same on xTV? I mean, using the same procedure to create a
textures.xpr with my own icons inside?

If so, is there are out there a way to download the full "/MEDIA" directory
from the SVN in a single .RAR or .ZIP file? Otherwise I will need to
save file by file, and it hurts a bit!  huh.gif

This SVN address does not work:
http://svn.sourcefor...mediacenter/xTV

But this one works perfectly:
https://xboxmediacen...ediacenter/xTV/

Is this correct?
I really appreciate a help on downloading the full SVN into a single compressed file.

Thank you for your attention!
Cospefogo.

Never mind about the RAR/ZIP file!
I managed to get the full directory using WGET.

But my other question is still up:
Can I use the same procedure as I used to create custom /MEDIA/TEXTURES.XPR file for PM3?

Cheers,
Cospefogo.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Mr. Jezz.
It's time to get my old'PC back in the table for some XBMC works!
(I did switch to Macs... no more pain!)

The very thing I want to change on xTV is the selection bar, I really don't like it!

No dis-respect intended to the skin author, xTV is fantastic.

But I was just wondering if it's possible to replace the font used by this skin?
How is it done?

I love this skin - it is the best.

I would like to also request the following request:

"Not sure if this has already been requested or if it would be easy to do but would like to add DVD Case Wrap2 to the view mode like in the front row skin"

Its the best part of the back-row skin also.

Cheers Dave
