8 Out Off 10 Scripts Are Not Stable
« on: August 06, 2005, 01:27:00 PM »

Hi All,

I am curious why it is that so many times python scripts are not stable?
First of all i read much enthousiasm from users about their scripts and then finally when installed those scripts  8 of 10 are just not working.
Everytime to have to edit those py files is shit, there must be better alternatives then Python?
Sometime they do work but most of the times they are not working at all, they say the are running and finally nothing happens.
I have all my network settings within XBMC ok , because i can sea the RSS file and the weather channel but when  i want to have certain scripts running they certainly are not ok, my XBMC is not the problem i have all the libs of python.
Is there not a better way to design programs then to use Python are there any better more staBLE alternatives?
I think to many people are trying to make scripts and to quickly those scripts are found on the net while their behaviour is not really so good.
Any advise where to find better script programs then Python?
