So....does this mean that T3CH will still be able to do their magic?

Subversion and CVS do exactly the same thing...The only difference is that Subversion doesn't suck huge donkey balls.

w00t Subversion and  TortoiseSVN FTW!

This is what my company just switched over to... it's easily head and shoulders superior to CVS  smile.gif

Not familiar with it, but this is really only for support right? Doesn't effect pulling stuff from xbins or xbmp.uk.xbins.org? Who's gonna put together the first tut.

This is only for source code.  If you weren't pulling stuff from CVS before, then you won't notice any change.

Once I click on 'changelog.txt' I get the following error:

QUOTE
500 Internal Server Error

An internal server error occurred. Please try again later.
This somehow does not give me a lot of confidence in SVN. dry.gif

Don't worry, I actually already downloaded the source code using SVN before I even posted. It was just the web-interface messing stuff up at the time. I see the advantages of SVN over CVS and if it is the best environment in which developers feel comfortable with to manage the source code, so be it. smile.gif
