There are times Xboxhdm won't recognize my disk or the HD. I retype the command and it finds it. Try that first.

You can run some tools from the floppy. ATAPWD is the one I think you want to run. It will show the lock status of the HD.

Atapwd won't detect the hdd eather could it be a error between my motherboard and the utitliys
