help! I have been trying for hours on end to flash my chip inside my 1.2/1.3 xbox. The chip is an st chip and it says m29f002bt70n1. I have entered multiple device ids in my raincoat.conf file . Heres what i put in so far:

and i get an unkown device error manf=0x20, def=0x60 try adding device in raincoat.conf file.
Any suggestions? I have soldered the 2 ponts on the top of the motherboard and have tried this and it doesnt work. I have also tried this with 2 points on top and 1 on bottom and 2 points on top and 2 on bottom. Im out of ideas guys. Please help!!!

ya there is but not commonly used. I just did it to rule it out. anyone else???

wow man you learn somthing new everday....hey i just found out that just because you add water to a real gun doesnt legaly make it a water gun....
