The Eeprom And Hd Key Backup

I have installed Krayzie's auto installer 2.8 and everything works great! I have backed up the Eprom and HD Key and think I seen that I should delete these files off the hard driver before removing the softmod, but then I got to thinking what other files should I consider removing if I ever remove the softmod. I know I read this info somewhere but for the life of me I could not find it.
